Henderson Brewing Releases The 6ix In The Sky Kölsch and Zesty Peddler Radler

TORONTO, ON – Henderson Brewing has announced the latest release in its monthly Ides Series of small batch beers, and a new collaboration with Muddy York Brewing.

Ides #87: The 6ix In The Sky Kölsch (4.6% abv):

Our Ides beer this month celebrates the annual Toronto Outdoor Art Fair, now in it’s 62nd year. Founded in 1961 by Murray and Marvell Koffler, the TOAF has helped launched numerous careers. Notable artists such as Ken Danby, David Blackwood, and Harlan House exhibited here during their early stages of their careers.

For the beer, we brewed a very quaffable, subtly fruity, and spicy Kõlsch with a crisp and clean finish, aromas of sweet malt and dinner rolls, and a slight floral hop character. Perfect for a warm summer’s day.

As is the tradition for the annual Henderson/TOAF collab series, the label features an image by last year’s TOAF Best of Painting Award winner, Sasha Sutherland, who creates “futuristic paintings of imagined cities [with] vibrant colours lending a utopian dimension to the cities she depicts”.

Zesty Peddler Grapefruit & Lemon Radler (3% abv):

Our latest collaboration with Muddy York, Zesty Peddler is a super refreshing and tart radler, highly crushable at 3% ABV. Deep golden yellow in colour, sweet and fruity with upfront grapefruit and lemon, and medium tartness.

Both beers are available now at the Henderson taproom, retail store, and online shop. Zesty Peddler is also available at Muddy York both in person and online.

Henderson products will be pouring in the Beer Garden at the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair, taking place this weekend (Friday July 7th to Sunday July 9th) at Nathan Phillips Square in front of Toronto City Hall
