LONDON, ON – London Brewing and The Raceway at Western Fair District have announced the release of a new beer that pays tribute to “one of the best Standardbreds to ever step on a track”.
Bulldog Brew is a summer lager named after Bulldog Hanover, a now-retired harness racehorse who won 28 of the 37 races he ran in his three year career, including a World Record setting performance at the William Haughton Memorial at the Meadowlands in New Jersey.
The beer will be launched at The Raceway tonight (Friday May 26th) where it will be available during the Camluck Classic. $1 from each can sold will go to support the Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society (OSAS), the official adoption agency for harness horses in the province.
