We have two grape skin contact beers, this is where we ferment a base beer and then condition the beer on grape skins that have already been pressed by Benjamin Bridge for wine making. These skins although finished for winemaking purposes still contain wonderful character that is imparted into the beer.
This year we have Blanc Grisette (4.5% abv) conditioned on Sauvignon Blanc grape skins, and Musqué Double IPA (8% abv) conditioned on Chardonnay Musqué grape skins. These beers are part of our annual commitment to raise funds for the Nova Scotia Nature Trust and 50 cents from every can will be donated.
